For the season finale, on April 1 & April 3, 2007, a wildly diverse program will be presented. Duke Ellington’s Suite from The River, a truly American piece with Jazz influences and will be performed as well as Hector Berlioz’s over the top Symphonie Fantastique. Guest artist harpist Jeremy Keppelmann, will perform George Friderick Handel’s Concerto for Harp. Fourteen-year-old Jeremy Keppelmann is in the 9th grade at Sage Ridge School, and studies harp with Linda Rollo of Saratoga California. In February 2005, Jeremy performed his own composition, Spaghetti Rag, on PAX TV (now I TV) show, America's Most Talented Kids. In 2005, Jeremy was one of 25 young harpists from around the world invited to perform at the World Harp Congress in Dublin, Ireland. He also finished in 3rd place in the junior division of the Liley-Laskine International Harp Competition in Deauville, France. Besides his talent for music Jeremy also loves acting and the visual arts. In May of 2006, he had the lead role of “Edward Middleton” in the Sage Ridge musical production of the Drunkard.
