The Reno Philharmonic and Laura Jackson, Music Director, announce auditions for the following positions:

Associate Concertmaster
Monday, June 6, 2022 – 11am

2nd Trumpet
Monday, June 6, 2022 – 5pm

Assistant Principal Bass
Sunday, July 10, 2022 – 3pm

Section Violin, Viola, & Cello
Sunday, July 10, 2022 – 7pm

Auditions will take place at Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts in Reno, NV. Auditionees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or take a provided rapid antigen test upon arrival if unvaccinated.

President & CEO

As the senior staff administrative position within the organization, the President and CEO will manage the human and financial resources of the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra and the Reno Philharmonic Association (RPA). The President and CEO will be accountable for all operational aspects of the organization and implementing the policies set by the Board of Trustees. The President and CEO will provide the leadership, vision, and information needed to enable the Board of Trustees to adopt constructive, progressive, sound, and practical plans for the continued development of the organization and the continued enrichment of the musical life of the community. The President and CEO will ensure that the RPA constantly improves its musical product, that it operates on as stable a financial basis as possible, and that it carries out its obligation to serve as a community cultural and educational institution.

Director of Development

The Director of Development reports to the CEO and is responsible for achieving all Reno Phil fundraising activities both individual and corporate giving, donor relations, grant writing, securing sponsors, strategic planning, and corresponding budgets. The Director of Development works closely with the Marketing Director, Education and Community Engagement Director, Music Director, Board of Trustees and administrative staff.
