The Reno Phil will be changing their popular Classix Series from Sunday matinees and Tuesday evenings to Saturday evenings and Sunday matinees beginning with the 2018-19 season. Saturday evening concerts will be at 7:30 pm and Sunday afternoon concerts will continue at 4:00 pm. If you are a current subscriber and wondering how the change will affect your seats, please see below for a list of commonly asked questions.

When does the change take effect?

Starting in the 50th season (September 2018 – April 2019), Classix concerts will be on Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm and Sunday afternoons at 4:00 pm. Subscription renewals will begin in February of 2018.

Is the change to Saturday evenings permanent, or only for the 50th season?

This will be a permanent change.

Why the change?

The change is a response to audience feedback and the difficulties many patrons face attending a midweek concert. The organization has decided to move the Tuesday evening series to Saturdays in order to be more accessible to a wider audience. We realize that Tuesday evening was a tradition for many patrons. We sincerely treasure each of our patrons and we want to make this change as easy as possible. If you ever have questions, comments, or concerns – please do not hesitate to contact us.
