Mercedes de la Garza is an architect who practices throughout the US with a focus in the Reno, Tahoe, and San Francisco communities. In addition to the Reno Philharmonic Board of Trustees, Mercedes serves on a number of Boards and Commissions including The Sierra Business Council, PBS Reno Board of Trustees and the Governor appointed Architect Positions on the Nevada Division of Museums and History and the Comstock Historic District Commission, to name a few. Her work, both individual and collaborative, has received national and international recognition.
