This page is for submitting your audition video for the 2023-2024 season of the Reno Phil Youth Orchestras. Live auditions are strongly preferred, and you should only submit a video if you have discussed your schedule conflict with the Youth Ensembles Coordinator.
The video and audio quality do not need to be professional, a basic recording with your phone’s camera is fine. Record with your entire instrument visible in the camera frame. Stand a few feet from the microphone, and record horizontally.

Record a video featuring all of the audition material in one take.
Upload your video to YouTube.
Set the privacy of your video to unlisted or public.
Title your video in this format: “2023 RPYO Audition – Name, Instrument, Desired Ensemble” (i.e. 2023 RPYO Audition – Claire Tatman, Violin, YSO)
Complete the Video Audition Submission form, found below, and be sure to include the URL of your video.
