Become a Volunteer

Join us for our Volunteer Orientations on either September 8, 2023 or September 15, 2023 (both at 5:30pm)!

Meet the staff and other volunteers, and learn about the Reno Phil’s volunteer program.

Our volunteers are an integral part of the Reno Phil. Volunteering is a great way to socialize and have fun while providing the staff with assistance at concerts, special events, and around the office. Plus, you will have the opportunity to experience some of the finest live music in the region!

The Reno Phil’s mission is “to produce inspirational symphonic performances of the highest quality for diverse audiences and support exceptional education, outreach, and engagement programs.” Our volunteer team helps bring this mission to life and ensure that live music continues to thrive in northern Nevada.

Hours are flexible. Simply sign up for the shifts that work with your schedule. Concert dates and special events are planned far in advance, while some office volunteer work might be scheduled on short notice. The Volunteer Coordinator sends out periodic emails with upcoming volunteer opportunities. Simply reply to the email with your availability.

The Reno Phil is committed to providing a work environment that is free of discrimination and other non-work related tension caused by prohibited harassment. We ask that all volunteers sign an Anti-Harassment Policy.
